Well, the Ghost fleeces are back on and we’ve turned up the office heating!
This month, we’ve seen the cricket season come to a close. All season, Ghost has been on-site during their home fixtures, to provide on-site expertise and technical backup. It’s been a great season to watch, and the team has really enjoyed supporting the club at their events.
Earlier in the month we celebrated Happiness at Work Week and treated the whole team to an ice-cream van that came to our office. Unsurprisingly, everyone opted for sundaes! Thank you to local ice cream van, The Iceberg for the icy treats!
We also welcomed Emily Osborn to our team, Emily will be taking on the role of Management Accountant within Ghost Enterprises. Emily is a lovely addition to the team and we’re sure you’ll all be speaking to her very soon!
We’re also extremely pleased to announce that we are finalists in TWO categories at The Real Cyber Awards – Best Cloud Provider and Best Managed Services Provider. We’re absolutely thrilled to have our efforts in the IT industry recognised and will be keeping our fingers and toes crossed until awards night!
October is also Cybersecurity Awareness Month. We’re proud supporters of the awareness week and want to play our part in keeping the nation protected from cybercrime. All month we’ve been sharing our top tips for keeping your data secure in our blogs and across our social channels so give us a follow to learn some vital tips and check out our special cybersecurity awareness blog here. In today’s data-driven, hyper-connected world cybersecurity has never been more important, and we all have a role to play in keeping our systems secure – so we hope you’ll find our tips useful.
Looking to the month ahead, and we will be going live with our new website. We’re really pleased with the finished result and are excited to launch it! We were also able to put the pictures from our personal branding shoot to good use so you can now see the whole Ghost team splashed across our web pages.
