Business Development Manager

We are seeking proactive, motivated, enthusiastic, customer-driven, commercially aware team player, who can clearly demonstrate a passion for what they do and therefore offer an ideal fit with our core values, mission and culture. To support our continued growth, twe require Business Development Manager to proactively seek new business opportunities and close new sales.
Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Identifying new sales opportunities through social media, marketing, networking and the internet
- Create a sales pipeline database of potential clients, regularly updating and adding to
- Approach new clients through cold-calling, networking and emailing
- Arrange and attend face to face and remote client meetings to discuss service offering, whilst identifying additional business opportunities
- Actively bring ideas forward to support the growth of the business through effective sales methods
- Work towards KPIs, ensuring targets are well managed
- Send out customer satisfaction surveys and report on findings
- Liaising with accounts to prepare quotes for clients
- Tracking and updating the project CRM
- Ad hoc duties as required by the business
Person Specification
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a sales position essential (ideally including b2b face to face meetings)
- Experience or knowledge of working with technical products (ideally within IT/computers) strongly preferred
- A hungry, determined approach to winning new business essential
- A confident communicator with the ability to understand and communicate technical terminology clearly
- Well organised and confident user of technology
- Full UK driving licence essential due to location of office and regular travel to clients

2nd Line Support Engineer - £30,000
Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in a support role, including 2nd Line Support incidents
- Website editing skills (desirable not essential)
- Confident, personable and customer service focused
- Articulate and able to communicate effectively to users in a clear non-technical language
- Understanding of server hosting and virtual technology
- Effective project and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, growing dynamic business
- Excellent organisational skills
- Driven and focused to keep response times within SLA requirements
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
