Ghost Enterprises: A Year in Review

Reflecting on a year of transition and change.

As the year draws to a close, it is time to reflect on the journey that Ghost Enterprises has undertaken over the past twelve months. So, let’s rewind the clock and look back at what happened in our corner of the tech world.

This year has been full of change as we’ve adapted to new market trends and internal changes within Ghost Enterprises. One of the most significant changes we made as a business was the formation of our Senior Management Team, bringing together department heads from across the business to ensure that as a collective we are all working towards the same goal and objectives. Our SMT meetings have been a great place to share transformative initiatives and significant business updates. From groundbreaking projects to strategic partnerships, our dedicated team has consistently demonstrated resilience, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to our company values.

Tech Triumphs

Ghost Enterprises has always been at the forefront of innovation and as a business, we are fortunate that our team members all share a passion and enthusiasm for technology. This passion and enthusiasm has been reflected in our partnerships and projects. As an independent technology provider, our team are given license to actively pursue and explore the latest in tech trends, and 2024 didn’t disappoint! We’ve seen huge leaps in AI innovation and the launch of fantastic tools for business automation – which has certainly kept our tech team busy!

Employee Achievements and Development

At the heart of Ghost Enterprises’ success is our incredible team. This year, we celebrated numerous individual and collective achievements. Our employees have continually demonstrated a commitment to professional growth and excellence, our 1st Line Support Technician Abraham achieved his CompTIA, while Office Manager Amy enrolled in an advanced business HR course. We also launched several new internal training and development programs designed to foster leadership skills and technical expertise, ensuring that our team is equipped to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.

We welcomed new team members across both our technology team and our operations team in the form of 1st Line Support, Tom, Business Development Manager Ed and Meghan who joined our accounts team. We also celebrated many employee anniversaries. Perhaps one of our more significant milestones this year was our office move to larger offices in order to accommodate our growing team. Our new location is positioned in the heart of Essex within easy reach of the county’s major towns, making it easier for us to provide our clients with onsite and emergency support.

Keeping it social

We’ve been social creatures this year attending many business networking events, and forging new relationships with business owners and large organisations. Our founder, Grant Hulley was also asked to be a panelist at a leading MSP event in London where he was asked to give his expert, professional opinion on the future of MSPs. We’ve also been fortunate enough to attend many leading tech events, building partnerships and new opportunities for tech innovation. We were also proud to reach the finals of several industry awards this year in categories such as best MSP, business continuity project of the year and excellence in marketing.

Looking Ahead

As we look ahead to the coming year, we are filled with optimism. We have several promising projects in the pipeline that we believe will drive further growth. We will also be launching our new website in Q1, the website will document all of our products and services, demonstrating our commitment to providing complete technical transparency. Very soon you’ll be able to learn more about our full scope of services and the tools we use to perform them.

We are also adding more cybersecurity services to our portfolio, these will include SOC services, dark web scanning and continuous PEN testing services – to name a few. In a world where many of our business operations revolve around technology, we wanted to give our clients added assurance that we are making significant advancements in our cybersecurity offering to keep our clients’ data protected from cybercrime.

Conclusion

This has been a year of change and transition for Ghost Enterprises. We realised early on in the year that we would need to reshape our business internally and have been looking at our business practices and addressing our core values, all to be able to bring our best offering to our clients. It’s no secret that Ghost Enterprises saw rapid growth over 2022 and 2023, this year we very much needed to take stock and regroup, and we’ve been working behind the scenes to build our next chapter. For us, 2025 will be met with fresh eyes and anticipation. Still, the one thing that remains the same, is our commitment to our core values of innovation, excellence, and making business technology accessible and understandable for all.

We want to take this opportunity to thank our team, partners, and clients for their unwavering support. Here’s to 2025 and the fresh challenges it may bring!
